Book Opening: The Fourth Turning by William Strauss and Neil Howe
Normally, I don’t wait until I’m over 65% done with a book to write my opening, but I’ve been on vacation, so deal with it. ”The Fourth Turning” was recommended to me by my mentor as good book on generational studies. So far, it’s proved interesting.
I can’t shake the feeling that a little of the Fourth Turning is in the genre of “psuedo-psych”, (probably because the first reviewer on Goodreads says as much) - but I also have found it very thought provoking to consider the idea of a cycle of four generations.
I’m almost done with the book, but consider this my OCD “book opening” so that I can write a closing and tell you what I thought of it after I was done.
